Broomfield Substance Abuse Intervention Services

The Family and Children's Services Division offers early intervention for teens impacted by drug or alcohol use. The division has a Substance Abuse Interventionist that provides assessment and referral services.

If you have questions, such as the following, please view the list of frequently asked questions and responses.

  • Who is at risk for substance and alcohol abuse?

  • What are the warning signs?

  • What can I do to help?

Referrals

  • Teens may be referred for intervention by parents, guardians, other family members, friends, schools, courts, or by themselves.

  • To be eligible to participate, teens must attend a Broomfield County school or be a resident of Broomfield between the ages of 12 and 18. 

  • Referrals should be made to Traci Hagie by calling (720) 887-2231 or emailing thagie@broomfield.org.

Other Services Offered

  • Substance abuse prescreening and evaluations

  • Referrals to other community resources for treatment

  • Family and individual counseling services
